Rain Prayer.

Climb out on this rooftop, and gaze upon this glorious city,

the lights are shining like a sea of emeralds.

The rain pours down as we say our goodbyes,

will we meet again?

A still frame in our minds today, that night over the city,

our lonely hearts still waiting to unite.

the rain pours down as we look to the sky,

we will meet again...

Haiku.

The city lights shine,
the buildings tower above,
peace and chaos mix.

--

The brisk winter wind,
blows down from the mountain's crest,
snow falls silently...

--

In the morning breeze,
I feel your love like sunrise,
I can breath once more.

A lone samurai,
writes an enlightened haiku,
a Ronin poet.

--

the mild wind whispers,
secrets through the tree branches,
picturesque beauty.

The Treason of the Moon.

In the fading light of evening,

she shyly shows her face,

her wispy silver hair,

flows down through time and space.

Her quiet voice it roars within me,

deep inside my heart,

her words as sharp as daggers,

begin tearing me apart.

Her flowing hair no longer silver,

now a crimson red,

her eyes are flashing violently,

how long until I'm dead?

But not all hope is lost this night,

hope comes to me by way of light,

an angel now stands by my side,

to fight the overwhelming tide.

Soon more join in and war begins,

the angels fight against this sin,

the rays of light fill up the sky,

fight to the death, but who will die?

The moon quails beneath the strain,

her mighty rage begins to stay,

the sun has risen to her might,

the moon is forced into her flight.

The battle for the sky now through,

the rolling plains now wet with dew,

I slowly sink down to my knees,

the war now won, I breathe with ease.

To this day I won't forget,

how beautiful was that sunset.

I won't forget that night in June,

about the Treason of the Moon.

Angel’s Creed.

The pain I feel, it kills me, but I can’t let it show.

My love for you is secret, I cannot let you know.

Though nightmares haunt me every night, I will not let you go.

Sometimes I wish that I could die, and if I did no one would cry,

But then I look upon your face, you keep me sane, you give me grace.

Though times are hard and death is near, love keeps me safe from what I fear.

So many doubt my love for you, but do not doubt my love is true.

If my love was as they show, I would have left you long ago.

But I’m still here, still fighting on, through the years I have not gone.

Why does it hurt so much inside? Why can’t I live, why can’t I die?

Hollow and alone I cry, it seems my wings will never fly.

Though nightmares haunt me every night, my hope keeps me alive.

I love you. I love you.
